media of the future
It is somehow scary to see how predictions from the past are becoming true. The big leap of technology is right ahead, and it will change the world...

Chamartin rain
This is inside Chamartin's metro station in Madrid. It is a non interactive lighting project that reminds me of Speirs and Major's 5th avenue façade in NY.

show shelter
This is an interactive element that I've seen many time when walking through the Gran Via (Madrid). It is a shelter made of many different bright black elements that move with the slightest of breezes. This is what I call "natural interaction", a dynamic effect created with no technology that catches the human eye.

whisky...light
I am not a fan of whisky, but this is not the first time that a drink surprises me. The caustic effects are probably from the icecubes...

natural art
One of my hobbies is scuba diving, it has been a while already since I last had the chance of experimenting the zero gravity-like sensation that only underseas can provide (apart from outer space, of course).
It is one of the most ancient creatures on Earth, the jellyfish is made of 98% water and it's sting is deadly to most fish... larger jellyfish can kill a human being. However I am more interested in some of them being phosphorescent, making me wonder if the name "sea firefly" or "firefish" didn't suit them better. It is remarkable to see how the most beautiful things in nature are often the most dangerous... is it because we are attracted to danger? Maybe is is part of their bate to be beautiful.
Injertos Lumínicos Verdes
...or Light Grafts, is an artistic installation by Luzinterruptus, a collective that is famous for its open air installations. Their ideas are innovative, often involve everyday situations and attempt to surprise pedestrians. The result is that all of their work is amazingly poetic and controversial at the same time. This particular installation took place in the "white night" celebrated in Madrid & Barcelona. Surprisingly they decided to go for green when tinting the colour of the night. The taste in the design of the lamps is impecable, and the results are most impressive. No wonder they were awarded first place in this years LAMP competition for designers (urban installations).
